Meret Jacob-Lakrimdi, our Ph.D. student at the Philipps-University Marburg, participated at the Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Vorderer Orient (DAVO – the German Middle East Studies Association for Contemporary Research and Documentation) annual conference that took place from 12th – 17th September at the Freie Universität Berlin.
Meret Jacob-Lakrimdi presented her research on Maghrebi state-society relations at the DAVO workshop talks. The conference also counted with a keynote by Professor Ronit Ricci from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
