CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROJECT

Raouf’s current research concerns mining in Algeria, a key sector in the country’s diversification strategy. He examines the “myth” of sustainable economic renewal through mining projects in southern and northern Algeria, focusing on the institutions driving these practices, the evolving legal setting and the national narratives that authorities employ to sustain these projects.
