Contribution to the project
Moustapha Taleb Heidi is a sociologist with more than twenty years of experience in mining, fishing and natural resources. He has been involved in many development projects in Mauritania, Senegal, and Chad, working as an expert consultant and on the conception of programs for local progress. This way, Heidi brings to Extractivism.de a unique experience that combines research and practice, focusing on artisanal mining in the Maghreb. He aims to understand social agency, appropriation and innovation strategies and the interaction between institutions and society within the extractivism model of development.
