CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROJECT
Ouafa analyses the geopolitics of green hydrogen in south-western Morocco in the framework of the European Commission’s REPowerEU strategy. Focusing on land grabbing, water scarcity and the rights of local communities, she sheds light on the opportunities and limitations of the energy transition from a local perspective and examines policies that marginalise local communities and ecosystems.
