The aim of the workshop is to exchange ideas and reflections in panels and round tables with stakeholders from academia, the productive sector, journalists, trade unions, and social and environmental organizations on the following topics:

  • Technology, production, and local and national development models

The workshop is being held within the framework of the cooperation program for research and academic mobility: “Green energy and sustainable raw materials in the context of North-South-South cooperation”.

The project aims to propose:

  • To integrate the requirements and solutions for green energy and raw material supply more thoroughly into social science education.
  • To initiate collaborative research projects on the socio-ecological transformation of energy and raw materials, with an emphasis on young researchers.
  • To advance the internationalization of SDG-related teaching and studies at partner universities through ongoing mobility.
  • To enhance knowledge transfer in politics, development cooperation, and society to raise awareness of the SDGs and foster greater acceptance of the need for sustainable energy and raw materials supply.
