biography

Stefanie Gumpinger is a doctoral researcher in the collaborative research project Extractivism at Philipps University of Marburg.
Her research focuses on development theory and the political economy of climate and environmental policy. She works in particular on resource politics, extractivism, and rent theory. She studied Human Geography, Sustainable Economics, and Sociology at Goethe University Frankfurt, the University of Kassel, and the University of Havana (Cuba).
